Financial Accountant

What this role is about:
The Financial Accountant supports our FC with recording of financial transactions, ensuring prompt and accurate reconciliations and providing support with any finance related projects and activities that the business may require. They will support FC on the commercial and financial side of all contractual relationships for Airbox and are maintaining steady relationships within the business and with external stakeholder by supporting the smooth business operations.
What you'll do:
- Recording of Financial Information of business transactions into the Financial systems promptly and accurately.
- Month End journals preparation and reconciliations with the commentary on variances.
- Support with the view of full ownership of Month End Process and the issue of the Board Slides upon completion of Month End.
- Maintenance of Hub Spot CRM system from Finance perspective ensuring all the necessary documentation is attached to maintain compliance with the relevant requirements.
- Support FC during Annual Audit process by providing evidence and reconciliations upon request. Maintenance of Inflow during Audit.
- Support FC with Business Partnering, Customer profitability reporting and any ad hoc projects that the business may require.
- Development of the processes within Finance function in order to improve efficiency
- The employee is expected to understand and comply with Airbox’s information security policies and procedures relevant to their role. This includes the protection of sensitive data, adherence to acceptable use standards, and prompt reporting of any suspected security incidents or breaches.
- The role may include specific responsibilities such as data handling, access control, secure system use, and confidentiality obligations, depending on the function. All employees are required to complete mandatory security awareness training and uphold security best practices in their day-to-day duties.
What we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:
- Strong excel skills are considered an advantage.
- Attention to detail is considered necessary
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- High level of communication and presentation skills especially in relation to presenting financial information for non-finance stakeholders
- Successful candidate will be actively studying towards recognised qualification (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Ability to adhere to deadlines and work in a fast-changing environment.
